Look at all of the hair, isn’t it wonderful? He was so good the entire session…I even got to use my new basket that I bought at Scott’s Antique Market last month and the new wood table frame I built. Ramey and her brother came into the studio last week and I finally got to use one of my tutu’s. This is one of my favorite frame lines and I think these images look amazing in these frames. I carry the entire line in my studio and they come in a ton of sizes, colors and trim options.

Petra – Atlanta Dog Photographer

When I was in California last week I visited my family who just adopted a standard poodle a few months earlier. This is Petra and she likes to lick a lot…she enjoyed my feet, legs and hands. We went in their backyard for a few photos, it was a little tough to get a good image because she doesn’t like to sit in wet grass. It would be my dream to have beautiful green grass and a palm tree in my backyard like this…maybe one day!

Pups for adoption

I had a shoot a few days ago with one of the people that works for the Mostly Mutts organization. After I photographed her cute dogs, I took a few shots of two puppies that will need a home in 5 weeks. They are 3 weeks old and are currently in Foster Care. If you are interested in adopting them check out the Mostly Mutts website…they are part of the “Law Enforcement” puppies.

Paxton

Paxton is the first newborn of the new year. He was the BEST baby during our shoot because he slept the whole time. His parents had this awesome glass dish that they wanted to use and of course I love it when parents have awesome ideas like that The key to keeping a newborn asleep during a shoot is to keep them VERY warm. His mom was so smart because she had the dish wrapped in an electric blanket so it would be nice and toasty when we sat him in. Brilliant!
