Ford + Nemo – Brookhaven Child & Dog Photographer

I loved this shoot for several reasons. 1. Ford is the one of the cutest boys I have ever seen, look at those big eyes. 2. Nemo is the name of his dog…and that was the name of my dog growing up. 3. The red wagon!! It’s hilarious how they both have the same expression, haha. His parents ordered this image in a 20×24 canvas for their house….can’t wait to get it back from my lab.

We had the most beautiful evening for our shoot last week! These are girls are both a year old and they had plenty of energy for me when I arrived. I love shooting at sunset because the light is so amazing! Yum, I love a little sunflare.

First of all, I have to tell you how much fun this shoot was! The location was perfect, Moses the Great Dane was amazing, his parents are awesome and the weather was beautiful! David and Lauren booked the shoot for Moses for his one year old birthday and their one year wedding anniversary. I don’t photograph adults very often, but they definitely helped me conquer my fear a little bit. I couldn’t decide which images to post, so I posted all of my favorites! Enjoy!!

Frodo came to Atlanta over Easter weekend all the way from N.C. to visit his big brother Jeremy. While he was here, we squeezed in a shoot at Piedmont Park. He is the funniest dog and loves squirrels….ALOT!

When I was in California last week I visited my family who just adopted a standard poodle a few months earlier. This is Petra and she likes to lick a lot…she enjoyed my feet, legs and hands. We went in their backyard for a few photos, it was a little tough to get a good image because she doesn’t like to sit in wet grass. It would be my dream to have beautiful green grass and a palm tree in my backyard like this…maybe one day!

In memory of Frank

Frank’s dad emailed me a couple days ago to let me know that Frank passed away from chronic kidney failure. I was so sad to hear this…he was such a sweet, old man. I never shared much from that family sesssion…but here are some cute one’s of Frank.
