It still amazes how quickly babies grow up.  I photographed this little guy with his big brother last May for his newborn session at 11 days old….now look at him!  It was hard to pick a handful of favorites from this session, we had the most gorgeous evening and thankfully the lawn guy at the park hadn’t mowed in awhile so we had some tall grass, my fave!

Little Benjamin was my last shoot at the old studio…it was a bittersweet day.  He arrived at my studio a little later than normal because he had a few extra days in the NICU for low blood sugar.  It’s so hard leaving your newborn baby in the hospital, even for a few days…my heart goes out to all of those moms who have to do that for several months.  My daughter Nola had two extra days at the hospital for some jaundice.  We were hopeful that her “tan” skin was something that she got from her dad…but as it turns out she’s super fair like her mama, haha.  Anyways, Benjamin was such a sweet heart and slept his heart out for me during our shoot.  It was great to end the last shoot there on a really positive note

I can’t believe it’s already been a year since I photographed Henry as a newborn, time is flying by!!  He’s always had the most amazing head of hair, click here to view his newborn pictures.  I mean wow!!  It’s always so much fun to photograph babies once they get bigger…even if it does make me feel old

I had so much fun with little Jonathan….he was a VERY sleepy baby and let me do anything I wanted.   I got a chance to play around with some new props, poses and layering…this is why I love my job…I get to play, play, play.
